We have answers!

On standard toilets, the T-adapter we provide is installed where the hose connects to the tank. For a skirted toilet, that connection might be hard to reach or not visible... But there's an easy fix!

In most cases, you can purchase a 3/8" T-adapter and install it where your toilet's flexible steel hose connects to the water supply.

If your bathroom's water supply is far from the toilet or non-visible you may want to hire a professional plumber or a knowledgeable Task Rabbit.

If you're having trouble attaching the bidet to your skirted toilet with your existing bolts, we recommend universal top-mounting bolts with rubber ball nuts.

Looking to install a bidet in your office bathroom? Not sure what your company's policy is on that but we definitely approve!

As long as your sink is within 9ft. of the toilet (and on the same side of the bathroom), you can connect the bidet to your sink's water supply. You might need to purchase a longer hose and/or a mini adapter, so be sure to check all the connection points before installing.

If DIY is not your thing and you're feeling overwhelmed we suggest you hire a professional plumber or a knowledgeable Task Rabbit.

First of all: congratulations on your chic and modern bathroom! Now for the not-so-fun part, wall-mounted toilets can be tricky since you don't have access to the water connections.

As long as your sink is within 9ft. of the toilet (and on the same side of the bathroom), you can connect the bidet to your sink's water supply. You might need to purchase a longer hose and/or a mini adapter. So be sure to check all the connection points before installing.

If you don't want to connect your bidet to the sink we recommend that you hire a professional to help you out due to the intricacy of these types of toilets.

Hard pipe = easy fix. Simply purchase a 12 in. flexible steel hose with 3/8" x 7/8" compression and replace the hard pipe with your new hose. Then follow our instructions as normal.

Don't forget to use Teflon tape!

This will be quick. Simply remove the seat, then proceed with your installation as you would with a standard toilet. You will place the seat mounts ON TOP of the bidet so you can put the toilet seat back on the mounts.

There are two types of quick-release mounts: plastic and metal. Not all toilets are created equal, but here are examples of each type that might help you figure it out:

Plastic quick-release mounts

Metal quick-release mounts

⚠️

If you are not sure how to unmount the seat, consult the manufacturer for instructions on your specific toilet model.

Rust and/or calcification can occur in older toilets. If your valve won't budge at first DON'T FORCE IT. Resist the urge, and try twisting it side to side gently until it starts to loosen up.

If needed, pour some white vinegar on the valve connection to dissolve some of that chemical build-up or apply some WD-40 (or olive oil for the eco-hack!) to lubricate the valve.

Like your bolts, we'll keep this short. Simply replace your existing bolts with 3” long M6 bolts and you'll be good to go.

If the hose won't budge from the tank simply spray some WD-40 (or some olive oil for the eco-hack!) into the connection point, wipe down the exterior of the hose nut, then use an adjustable wrench or pliers to loosen it.

If you've never purchased WD-40 (or used olive oil like this) before, then you probably have a creaky door or office chair that you can finally silence once you've loosened up your toilet hose. Win-win!

Poopin’ on an incline is never a good idea. If your bidet creates a gap that causes your seat to slope downward, double-check that your seat and bidet are properly aligned and that all the hardware is affixed correctly.

If there is still a gap, peel off the backing of the enclosed bumpers and stick them to the bottom of the seat as pictured.

First, look and listen to see if you can identify exactly which connection is causing the leak. Turn off the water and unscrew the connection you have identified as the problem. Add another layer or two of Teflon tape then reattach the connection. Make sure that the threadings are perfectly aligned so the connection is straight.

If the leak persists, or the source of the leak is unknown, please email us at hello@gobetterway.com.

Your home's water pressure determines whether you've purchased a bidet or a power washer!

If you feel that you're fighting a battle down there every time you turn the knob to even just the first setting, try rotating the water supply valve (the one on the wall) clockwise to decrease the flow of water to your bidet.

To clean your bum turn the knob to the left. To clean the very nozzle that cleans your bum, turn the knob to the right and let it rinse itself. Clean nozzle = clean bum.

There are two labels on the bidet control panel: NOZZLE and WASH. Turn the knob clockwise to NOZZLE and the spray nozzle will rinse itself. Turn the knob counterclockwise to WASH and the bidet will wash your booty. Rotate the knob slowly while you figure out what level of water pressure feels comfortable.

You may need to wiggle or scoot back to find the best position, but once you figure that out, just let the bidet do its thing for a few seconds. Then pat yourself dry with a small amount of toilet paper (or a designated bathroom towel if you're an eco-warrior).
